It may be week 2 of the NFL season but the PLL is still in session! The PLL championship game, a rematch from last year, is set to start at 12pm eastern 9/19/21. The Chaos meets the Whipsnakes in a rematch of the 2020 PLL Championship. This year I think the outcome will be quite different. Like I said in previous blogs, the Chaos is here to cause just that; Chaos. The Whipsnakes have an offensive powerhouse but have struggled with injuries and defensive play. A recipe for disaster when playing the Chaos.
The play for today is Chaos +145 on the Moneyline. I expect the Chaos to come out quick and the Whipsnakes to match the energy. As the game progresses, I expect Blaze Riorden and the Chaos defense to slow down the Whipsnakes offense. If the Chaos can do just that, they will take a commanding lead and never let go.
On the other hand, it would be foolish to count out the defending champs. The Whipsnakes are the only team to ever win the PLL championship and have the veteran experience to play their best when the lights shine brightest. Matt Rambo and Zed Williams will be deciding factors. If both players can play their game, Chaos won’t be able to win the game. Rambo has been dealing with injuries this season producing record low numbers in his PLL tenor. Zed has performed well per usual, but in a team game, one player can’t win it for the entire team.
If you end up following the Chaos pick, let me know on Twitter, @EKBets. Best of luck!
