Thursday Night Football is back and the Taysom Hill ERA is here. This has been Sean Payton’s prize project and they are without Kamara tonight. I expect a lot of Hill gadget plays and especially after having our eyes bleed watching Trevor Semian play deep ball plays on a Cowboys defense that is just atrocious. This is not your typical Thursday night game because both teams played last Thursday so it is not a short week for either side. I expect both teams to be fresh and ready to go as the Saints try and solidify their playoff chances and the Cowboys to pull away in the NFC East.
Indoor game underdogs are hitting at a 66% rate this year as the underdog has covered the spread at a record of 30-20 so far on the season. With this week being such an important week for the Saints it is honestly surprising the spread is up to 5 against a Cowboys team who will be shorthanded due to COVID and injuries.
The Pick Saints +5
The one area the Cowboys will not have a problem with will be offense. Even without their head coach, they will get Amari Cooper back and Zeke will get touches despite reports Cowboys were considering giving him a couple of games off. The Saints offense quite literally cannot be any worse than it was on Thanksgiving. Granted the Bills defense is a different animal they themselves will have a much easier task at hand against the Cowboys who gave up 36 points at home to the Raiders.
The Pick Saints vs Cowboys over 47 -110
The last set of picks will be half-unit props. We did this a few weeks ago and especially for the fantasy players out there, these are fun bets to where you can just root for fun. Like I said earlier I do expect a lot of gadget plays and a lot of Taysom Hill tonight. Another player to keep an eye on is Dalton Schultz. One player on each side to score a TD at any time. That in addition to the over you can sit back and root for fun all night long.
The Picks: Hill anytime TD +140 and Dalton Schultz anytime TD +185
