How To Place A Same Game Parlay on The FanDuel Sportsbook App

Last Updated:

Have you heard about the Same Game Parlay feature on FanDuel but aren’t sure how to place one?  Look no further!  Betting Hero has put together a tutorial video showing you what a Same Game Parlay is and how to place one on the FanDuel Sportsbook App.

What Is A Same Game Parlay?

A same-game parlay (SGP) is a parlay ticket that combine multiple bets from one game. SGPs are a relative newcomer to the sports betting industry.

Same game parlay bets weren’t widely approved by sportsbooks until the early 2020s. While parlay betting is a staple at modern-day online sportsbooks, bettors had to choose multiple games to bet parlay tickets in previous years.

SGPs (also known as single game parlays) options are still somewhat limited. When you look at the game lines available at a given time at FanDuel Sportsbook, you’ll see an “SGP” logo at the bottom left of a game listing if same-game parlays are available for that game.

Click on the “SGP” tab and you’ll see a menu come up that lists all of the bets from that game that are eligible for a same-game parlay. You can generally create parlays that combine bet types like moneyline bet, point spread, and prop bet.

You’ll find that some correlated bets aren’t eligible to combine in a same-game parlay. For example, if you try to parlay the moneyline and the point spread on the same team, you might not be permitted to do it.

Now that we know the basics of same-game parlay betting, let’s take a look at how to place an SGP at FanDuel Sportsbook:

Step 1: Find an event

Once you have the FanDuel Sportsbook App opened and are logged in, the first step is finding the event you want to bet your Same Game Parlay on. You can search for the event by scrolling the home screen or using the All Sports Menu.

When you find the event you want to place the Same game parlay on, click on the more wagers tab to access all the betting options. In the video above, I’m placing a same game parlay on the Celtics vs Bucks game.

To access the same game parlay section, select the same game parlay tab at the top of the page. There you can build your parlay with all the available betting options. I selected the game under and Jaylen Brown’s total points under.

FanDuel Same Game Parlay FAQ

How do same-game parlays work at FanDuel Sportsbook?

Look for the “SGP” tab at the bottom left of a game line listing at FanDuel Sportsbooks. Games with the ‘SGP” link included are eligible for same-game parlay bettings.

Click the “SGP” logo to bring up the parlay builder for that particular game. Note that not all bets can be combined into a parlay, and correlated bets (like the moneyline and the point spread on the same team) can’t be combined in an SGP.

Do you have to win all bets in a same-game parlay?

In order to win an SGP, you must win all parlay legs on the ticket. If even one leg of the ticket loses, you lose the entire wager.

How do I share parlays at FanDuel Sportsbook?

In some states you can share your Betslip with friends via text. Look for the “Share Bet” tab that appears on your Betslip, and click that button to get a link that you can text to your friends.

The Share Bet option in only available in CO, CT, IA, LA, MI, NY, TN, WV, and WY. This option only allows others to see your Betslip, and doesn’t allow multiple FanDuel account owners to contribute funds to a bet.

How many same-game parlays can you do on FanDuel?

The number of SGPs you can bet at the same time is only limited by the number of games eligible for same-game parlays at a given time, and the number of wagers within the SGP builder that you’re permitted to combine from a single game.

What is the difference between a same-game parlay and a multi-game parlay?

Same-game parlays are tickets that include multiple bets from a single game. Multi-game parlays can include bets from multiple games, and even different sports.
