How To Place A Parlay on The FanDuel Sportsbook App

Last Updated:

Are you new to the FanDuel Sportsbook app and aren’t sure how to place a parlay?  Betting Hero has you covered! We have created a step-by-step tutorial that will show you how to place any type of parlay you would like to make.

What Is A Parlay?

A parlay is a bet involving the outcome of two or more events.  In a parlay, every outcome listed must win for the parlay to win.

Whenever you place multiple bets at FanDuel Sportsbook, your selected bets will appear on your bet slip. The bet slip allows the option to place each bet individually, or combine the bets into a parlay.

Step 1: Build your parlay

Once you have the FanDuel Sportsbook App opened and are logged in, the first step is finding the events you want to build your parlay with. You can search for the events by scrolling the home screen or using the All Sports Menu.

In the video above, I am parlaying the Celtics and the Warriors on the point spread. To do this, I click on the Boston Celtics (1.5) tab in the Celtics vs. Bucks game line listing. I then scroll down to the Grizzlies vs. Warriors game line and click the Warriors -8 tab.

Any time you click on a line on the FanDuel Sportsbook app, that bet is automatically added to your “Betslip”. The bet isn’t confirmed until you enter a wager amount and send it to the sportsbook, however, so you can click on as many bets as you want to see how the odds stack up in a parlay.

You can click the “Betslip” tab at the bottom of the app at any time to bring up your current bets.

Step 2: Enter your wager

After selecting the legs of your parlay, the next step is to enter your wager amount. To do so, tap on the bet slip and type in the amount you want to wager in the parlay section. You’ll find the parlay section at the bottom of the bet slip.

For instance, in the video clip, you would place your wager amount in the “Wager” field under the “2-Leg Parlay” header. That field shows the payout odds of a two-leg parlay made from the Warriors and Celtics point spread bets.

After selecting the legs of your parlay, the next step is to enter your wager amount. To do so, tap on the bet slip and type in the amount you want to wager in the parlay section. You’ll find the parlay section at the bottom of the bet slip.

Place your bet

The third and final step to placing a parlay is pressing the “place bet” button at the bottom of the screen. Once you press this green button, the bet is sent to the sportsbook.

Keep in mind that once you click the “Place Bet” button, the wager becomes final. Also note that the bet isn’t placed until you click the “Place Bet” button.

How To Parlay On FanDuel FAQ

What states allow FanDuel parlays?

You can bet parlays at FanDuel Sportsbook in all states in which FanDuel Sportsbook legally operates. That list includes more than 15 states and counting.

How do you make a FanDuel same-game parlay?

Any game or event that’s eligible for same-game parlays will have an “SGP” tab at the bottom left of the game line listing. You can click the “SGP” link (the same-game parlay tab) to bring up all the same game parlay bets that you can choose in that particular game.

Keep in mind that not all games/events include the option to make a same-game parlay bet.

Can you have multiple parlays on FanDuel?

Yes. There’s no limit to how many different parlays you can make at the same time at FanDuel Sportsbook. Much like single bets, you can place as many bets as you’d like at any given time at FanDuel.

A convenient way to make multiple parlays from a given list of bets is to use the “round robin” option, which splits a list of wagers into smaller groups of parlays. For more on round robin betting at FanDuel click here.

Do you have to hit every leg on a FanDuel parlay bet to win?

Yes. For example, if you place a four-team parlay, all four teams have to win for the parlay to win. If even one team loses, the entire parlay bet loses. If all four teams win, you win the bet at the parlay odds given for that particular ticket.
