Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Betsafe account. It requires you to enter a unique code, in addition to your password, to access your account.
To set up 2FA on Betsafe, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Betsafe account and click on your username in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select “My Account” from the drop-down menu.
- Click on “Security & Verification.”
- Scroll down and click on “Two-Factor Authentication.”
- Click on “Enable Two-Factor Authentication.”
- Download and install a 2FA app on your mobile device, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Open the 2FA app and scan the QR code displayed on the Betsafe screen.
- Enter the code generated by the app into the box on the Betsafe screen and click “Verify.”
You have now set up 2FA on your Betsafe account. The next time you log in, you will be asked to enter a code generated by your 2FA app.
Some things to keep in mind about 2FA on Betsafe:
- You can only enable 2FA on one device at a time.
- If you lose access to your 2FA device, you can still log in using your username and password. However, you will need to contact Betsafe customer support to disable 2FA on your account.
- You should keep your 2FA device secure and not share your codes with anyone.
- If you suspect your account has been compromised, you should change your password and contact Betsafe customer support immediately.
By enabling 2FA on your Betsafe account, you are taking an important step to help protect your account from unauthorized access.
